A West Village garden apartment in moss and ochre.
Tucked away on one of the West Village’s most coveted blocks, Horatio Place Garden is an intimate garden-level apartment that pairs historic New York character with a warm, highly considered interior.
The home unfolds through a layered mix of original wood floors, painted brick, patterned wallpaper, vintage furnishings, woven textures and a palette of moss green, ochre, cream and soft sage. A relaxed living room leads into a light-filled dining space surrounded by multi-pane windows and a glass roof, creating an almost conservatory-like atmosphere overlooking the garden.
Why Horatio Place
The kitchen combines pale green cabinetry, brass lighting and open shelving, while the primary bedroom makes a strong visual statement with striped walls, exposed ceiling beams, a sculptural upholstered headboard and built-in window seating. A marble bathroom, separate laundry area and character-filled hallways provide additional shooting environments throughout the apartment.
At the rear, French doors open onto a lush, secluded garden with mature plantings, stone paving, brick walls and multiple seating areas—a rare private outdoor setting in the heart of downtown Manhattan.
With its distinctive color story, layered interiors and quintessential West Village setting, Horatio Place Garden works particularly well for fashion, beauty, lifestyle, interiors, tabletop, editorial and intimate film or photo productions.
