In the heart of the home, a vaulted kitchen opens onto the Texas landscape through a glass back wall, letting light draw breath across plank and plaster. Furnishings and antiques aren’t styled into silence—they’re assembled like stories told around a table, each piece carrying its own history.

Bathrooms embrace the view as boldly as the farmhouse does its past. In one, the tub was lowered into the floorboards so that panoramic fields remain uninterrupted. Another room sets reclaimed shingles inside as wall material, grounding the interior in the land that surrounds it.

Leftovers Farmhouse is both design experiment and heartfelt refuge: a place where forgotten things are given reason again, and where guests find themselves in a house that feels like visiting an old friend. Intended as a short-term rental near the famed Round Top Antique Fair, it also stands as proof that restraint and reuse can coexist with warmth, personality, and quiet surprise.
