Casa El Greco has always looked like it was waiting for this shoot. The terracotta floors, the arched passageways, the way afternoon light moves through the Santa Monica Hillside — Ruggable’s Rustic Riviera campaign found its place.

 

For their Rustic Riviera collection, Ruggable chose Casa El Greco — a century-old Spanish Colonial estate and recognized Los Angeles landmark — as the backdrop for their campaign shoot. The home’s original handmade terracotta tile floors, thick whitewashed walls, arched passageways, and vine-covered courtyards have been defining the look of the Los Angeles hills for a hundred years. For a collection rooted in Mediterranean texture and slow-living design, there was no better setting.

Each room was styled to show how Ruggable’s washable rugs belong in spaces with history — not showrooms. The indoor-outdoor flow of Casa El Greco, from its shaded patios to its sun-warmed interiors, gave the collection room to breathe the way it’s meant to be used: under a dining table, anchoring a reading corner, laid across a covered terrace that has seen a century of afternoons.
