Our story
Our story
The right space shapes the work that happens inside it. Witness Locations began with a single loft in New York’s Flower District—a place for gatherings, artist residencies, and brand activations—and grew into a collection of homes, studios, and retreats chosen for their character.
Today, the collection includes over 80 properties across California, New York, the Hamptons, Mexico, and Europe. From a Richard Neutra house in the Hollywood Hills to a chalet in Megève, each offers something individual: an architectural history, a distinctive interior, or a setting that stays with you.
We work closely with owners to open their spaces to creative projects, with care for the details that make them special. For brands, producers, and creatives, we bring a considered eye to finding the right setting for shoots, events, retreats, and stays.
The founder
Meet Ani.
Ani Tzenkova has spent her career discovering places, people, and ideas worth sharing.
Raised in California, she studied Integrated Design at Parsons and built her career in New York as co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of Trendland.com, exploring the intersections of design, fashion, art, and photography. Through brand activations, artist residencies, and gatherings at her Manhattan loft, she brought those interests into a physical space.
She later returned to Los Angeles, drawn to its architectural history and the opportunity to build a collection around it. Today, she brings the same editorial eye to a growing portfolio that reaches across California, New York, Mexico, and Europe.
